5 Reasons why you should take time to play | Beverly Gurganus Fine Art
Playtime isn't just for kids, adults can benefit from play, and I'm sharing 5 reasons why you should incorporate play into your life.
Play can look differently for each of us...it could be experimenting with a new recipe, a family outing, going to your favorite store and trying on clothes with your besties, hitting the basketball court with the guys, etc... As a creative/artist, play is giving myself permission to paint whatever and however I want without any expectations of the outcome. It has been a long time since I allowed myself to paint without a plan, and it felt so good and free. I feel like the painting testifies to that freedom.
Why taking a vacation can make you a better artist.

My husband has been running his own business for over 20 years, and I started my art business almost 3 years ago. We totally understand how hard it is to fit traveling into an already full schedule, and to be honest, we have sacrificed many travel opportunities for the sake of work leaving us envious of other's vacations.
