Isn't it funny how a good nights sleep and a bright sunny day can shed new light on a painting? This cow that I couldn't wait to scrape off with my palette knife didn't look like a lost cause this morning. The natural light that awakened the studio made me see the painting in a new light (figuratively and literally), and I entertained thoughts of touch ups instead of a redo.
