The 30 in 30 challenge is over so what now?
When I heard that artist Leslie Saeta was hosting a September 30 in 30 challenge, I hopped on board. I love how this challenge gives that little extra boost to get into the studio, put paint to the canvas, and just play around with no pressure. I usually have an expected outcome in mind when I'm painting, but for these challenges I allow myself grace and flexibility to experiment.
I can't believe we are nearing the end of the 30in30 challenge. These past two weeks have been crazy around here juggling exciting family events and tune in the studio. I had to prioritize where to spend my time and of coarse family comes first. I'm rounding up both week 3 and week 4 in this post.
Today was our (my 11 yr. old daughter and I) first official plein-air Tuesday, and we chose Oak Grove Lake Park.
My daughter came to me before school was out and asked if I would do art lessons with her so I came up with what I felt would be a win-win situation for the both of us.
