Day 4 and not much has changed with how I'm feeling about the palette knife.  I'm still struggling with manipulating the tool, and achieving the details that I so long for.  This challenge is like reprograming of my brain to not focus on details, and I'm fighting it like a toddler in the grocery store who just wants what I want the way I want it. Day 3 of 30 paintings in 30 days was definitely a CHALLENGE to say the least.  Was there ever a time when you wanted to rip a painting and throw it in the trash?  That would be how I felt today, but I resisted the temptation by telling myself to enjoy the learning experience.  I think joy will come eventually because let's be real...I wasn't feeling much joy...hahaha.
