Children of the King | princess paintings | Beverly Gurganus Fine Art
Flowy Princess dresses are best for twirling says all little girls every where. This collection of little girls wearing tiaras is near and dear to my heart because my inspiration comes from a place deep within my soul.
First, I have always had a special love for children. My mother ran a home child care business as well as taking in foster children, and I believe that paid a huge roll in growing my love for children.
Second, I am also a mom to three girls, and completely understand all things girly from ruffled dresses to princess fantasies, and watching my little girls dream of tiaras and ball gowns while twirling across the floor caused my heart to overflow with that same innocent joy.
Third, I became aware of child trafficking a few years ago when approached by someone on Instagram who was organizing a fund raiser for an organization that was fighting against this horrible unspeakable acts against our children. This weighed so heavy on my heart, and because of these three reasons, my twirly dress collection was birthed. I want to send a message of worth and love to these enslaved children as well as all other children. Life is hard, and we often feel our value is based in the eyes of the world, but our value isn't in this world. Our worth is in the eyes of the one that created us...not because we have done anything amazing to earn value, but simply because he loves us.
